This week the Milwaukee Muslim Film Festival will highlight eight films with the goal of generating meaningful discussion about Muslims and the Muslim world. We speak with the organizer, Janan Najeeb, president of Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition, on representation and how the film’s global issues hit close to home.
