Photo essay: The Coalition to March on the RNC in downtown Milwaukee

On July 15, the Coalition to March on the RNC assembled for a press conference, rally and march several blocks away from the Fiserv Forum where the RNC was being hosted. More than 3500 people walked and chanted along the mile and a half route in the sweltering summer heat.

The Coalition to March on the RNC includes members of 120 social movement organizations who palpably refuse the Republican’s racist agenda, want to defend reproductive rights, demand peace, justice and equity for all, and stand with Palestine.

Wisconsin Muslim Journal chose a photo essay of the march because the images speak for themselves.
